SHOP SALE + Planner Update!

A little printable shop update (and SALE) is in order – lots of changes, a couple new products, simplification, and a new look!  But first….

Did you hear that I have a PRINTED planner coming out?  It’s at the printer’s now, getting one last tweak and it’ll be ready.  I’m crossing my fingers for the week of November 14th.  Here’s a sneak peek from Instagram if you’re curious.

What is the Clean Mama Planner?  A simple undated planner for keeping track of homekeeping and the everyday.  You’re going to LOVE it – it’s completely different from any other planner or tool.  I’ve also put a digital version in my shop if you’d prefer that method or just want a sneak peek.  Take a look – the digital version is similar to the printed version – the biggest difference is that the actual printed planner is completely printed and bound beautifully for you, rounded corners, protective cover, and more.  The digital version is 18 documents and half size.

planner

I love sharing printables with you here and in my shop.  If you’ve ever purchased a printable from me or downloaded a free one, I hope you have found a little organizational goodness in your home through the tools.  I’ve simplified the shop, kept the best products and added a few new items.  Come see….

2017 Calendars are in the shop and I’ve added a new kit too – I made this for me and decided to list it in the shop – it’s the JUST ONE PAGE kit.  Sometimes one page is all it takes to break things down, simplify, and see things on paper. The Just One Page Kit is just that – simple, easy, and perfect for getting your thoughts and tasks on paper.  Instead of pages and pages of printables to sort through, I’ve created 10 pages that are flexible, intended to be used in more than one way, and easy to look at.

Here’s a close up at a couple of the pages:

I love this new kit – it might just be one of my favorites!

Head on over to the Clean Mama Printables and use the coupon code 25FALLBACK for 25% off your entire order through Monday, November 7th at 10pm CST.

Menu Planning : Family Favorites Free Printable

Family Favorites Free Printable - Clean Mama

One of my best tips and tricks for menu planning is to keep a running list of favorite recipes on hand in my recipe binder.  Yes, it’s easy to recall favorite recipes but sometimes when menu planning it’s hard to come up with winner-dinners.  I’m not saying that every night you need to knock it out of the park but it’s nice to have a list of favorite recipes to rely on for menu planning.

As part of the Menu Planning Mini Challenge I have this free printable for you – it’s part of the Everyday Menu Planning Kit in my shop here.  Print it out, make a list of favorites and next time you are stumped on what to make for dinner or plan for the next week, grab your list and choose a couple winners.

FREE Summer Cleaning Checklist

FREE Summer Cleaning Checklist - Clean Mama

Summer is here and so is my FREE summer cleaning checklist!

I like to break chores and tasks down into musts and maybes – and that’s how I approach seasonal cleaning. I might not get to everything on the list but at least I’ve gotten a couple musts out of the way first. Here’s a little explanation of my summer cleaning checklist – I hope you give it a whirl!  This is also great if you’re home for the summer (hello teachers) and looking to add a little extra cleaning to your days.

BASICS – SEASONAL CLEANING

These items are cleaning tasks that I rotate through 4 times a year or seasonally. Hence the summer cleaning checklist. Some of these items (dust, vacuum) are on my weekly cleaning checklist, so I do those on that day of the week, but I do a more thorough job. For instance, instead of just vacuuming the family room I move the furniture and vacuum under the couch. I dust all surfaces, but I also dust the corners and corners at the ceiling. If this is the only portion of the checklist that you complete, you have still done a great job. These basics will make a big difference in your home!

DEEP CLEANING

If you’ve never done a deep or thorough cleaning and you have extra time on your hands, you’ll want to check these items off your list. If you just washed your windows last month, you probably won’t need to wash them, check your home and see if any of these tasks should be completed.

TRADITIONAL SUMMER CLEANING TASKS TO ADD IF YOU’D LIKE

Seasonal cleaning goes back generations, these tasks are ones that are generally associated with summer cleaning. If you’d like to complete them and it makes sense for you it will be time well spent. If you don’t have time and have never completed them, no need to feel bad – they are just suggestions.

Free Summer 2016 Calendar

Summer 2016 Free Printable Calendar - Clean Mama copy copy

I’ve had so many requests for another summer schedule (you guys loved 2015) and I’m happy to share a new one for you this summer! We’ve been working on getting the summer schedule figured out at our house and since I know that I’m not only one trying to figure out the kids’ schedules, I thought I’d share a simple way to see everyone’s classes and activities at a glance.  Use this for determining what’s enough and what’s too much or for keeping track for schedules all summer long.  I find that laying it out at a glance is the best way to see what’s going to work and what won’t work this summer.

Screen Shot 2016-04-26 at 11.08.16 AM

I left a little room on the top, bottom, and margin of the sheet if you’d like to make a little key and color code the activities/kids.  I hope this is a helpful and useful tool as you lay out the summer and make the most of the these three great months!

Read on, grab the FREE calendar for JANUARY 2016 and get ready to see how doing a little bit everyday really is the secret to a clean house.

Here’s an infographic that explains my cleaning routine:

Weekly and daily tasks are detailed at the top, rotating cleaning tasks are on the bottom of the calendar with a little checklist.  How you use the calendar is up to you – put it on a clipboard, in your planner, on your refrigerator.  Use checkmarks, draw lines through tasks or simply keep it up as a reminder.
